THE PLOT:
Benevolent aliens from the planet Emerald send superhero Starman to protect Earth from invasion by an evil alien race called
the Spherions. When Starman arrives on Earth, he discovers a conspiracy involving Earth's top scientists, and he must root
out the traitors and also stop the impending alien invasion.
Starman old friends have returned in order to help him stop the incideous Spherion Invasion.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
I hear that this is based on a really old TV show, Starman. I heard good things about it. But it's like this movie I think
I'd rather pass on the TV show. This movie has terrible production value, the story was boring and repetitive. The dubbing
was God Awful and basically it's one big stink fest. Anyone who calls GAMERA or GODZILLA cheesy, don't know what cheesy is.
Look up cheesy in the dictionary and you'd find a picture of this movie. Look at the costume for a second, goofy with that
antenna. The evil aliens were just humans. Not one monster except for the council. I love Japanese stuff, and I'm the one
defending Japanese sci-fi when other people call it crap. But this is one of those rare times when the Japanese dropped the
ball big time and didn't care. I give ATTACK FROM SPACE...THE NOOSE!

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
This is not fun, this is annoying. I got to give credit. There are some impressive martial arts in this. But alone that
can't save it. I've seen better low budget kung fu flicks. So I am afraid that I am going to agree with Zedd and give ATTACK
FROM SPACE the NOOSE.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ MARTIAL ARTS (The martial arts are good in this.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- EFFECTS (I've seen better effects in a Rorger Cormen flick.)
- COSTUMES (Goofy is an understatement.)
- ENEMY ALIEN (They looked like Nazis instead of monsters.)
- STORY (Weak, boring and repetitive.)
...AND FINALLY...
- DUBBING (I call this some of the worst dubbing ever.)
