THE PLOT:
David was a normal kids suffering from normal problems. But he had good friends and loving parents. All that is about to change
one fateful night as David wakes up and sees a UFO landing just beyond the fence. He awakens his parents, his Father thinking
it was just a bad dream goes and looks anyway.
But when he doesn't return, David's Mother calls the Police. He returns the next morning with a lame excuse and a strange
mark on his neck. But George is no longer a loving Father, he is a top of the line jerk.
David begins to feel that the aliens did something to it. When the local Police and his Mother also falls into the alien
trap, as well as several other people in town. He entrust his secret with a local Doctor. She believes him and together they
try to convince others before it's too late.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Okay, here's the skinny. The Mutant effects was kind of lame. Could have been much better. But I write that off because
it's 1953. The story about a child is the only one who knows about a secret alien invasion from Mars is cool. The head in
the bubble that works. That works allot. One of the best effects in the movie. Here's something interesting, if you've
seen the AMERICAN version of this movie, then you must see the BRITISH version. The ending is completely different. Without
giving it away, it's way different then I expected. Both versions are on the DVD. I give INVADERS FROM MARS...8 STARS
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd on this. This is a classic, but again it's slow. Slower then other movies of the time. But it's interesting
enough to keep watching it. I give the movie INVADERS FROM MARS...7 STARS
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ ALIEN IN THE BUBBLE (The best creature effects of the time peroid.)
+ STORY (The secret invasion works.)
+ CHARACTERS (Most of the human characters work.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- MUTANT DESIGN (The mutant design was a tad weak.)

- SLOW (Kind of slow paced, even for the 1950's.)
