THE PLOT:
The story of a troop of soldiers checking out a strange cave discovered after surveying a nuclear blast site after the radiation
calmed down to safe levels. What they discover is a marooned alien survey ship with giant babes and plant monsters. Now
two lazy goofballs are the only ones that can find a way to save the world from a would be alien invasion of the hot kind.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
I'm glad they played this for laughs. It would have never worked as a serious movie. The Vegimen are goofy looking and the
story is weak. But since they played it out for straight laughs I kind of liked it. Don't be surprised to see this movie
as a future BEST OF THE WORST winners. 6 STARS.
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
Zedd's right, this is somewhat funny. But nothing really intense or new. The same kind of buddy comedy since Laurell and
Hardy's time. So there's nothing new or unique, just average. So for this average movie I give an average 5 STARS.
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ FUNNY (The movie is funny.)
+ PLOT (The funny plot works.)
+ ALIEN BABES (I love the alien space babes in this movie. Both of them.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- CREATURE EFFECTS (The Vegimen are a tad weak.)
- AVERAGE (VOLTRON thinks the movie is just average.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you aren't a fan of this comedy team style humor, this isn't for you.)
